Let's kick off our wedding weekend in style! We would love for you to join us for a special Welcome Party the night before our big day at the rooftop bar of the Hyatt House Hotel. Enjoy drinks, breathtaking views, and great company as we toast to an unforgettable weekend ahead!

The Rooftop Bar is located on the 8th floor and will be closed to the public for our event.
When you arrive, please check in at the front desk, and they'll be happy to assist with directions.

Logistics
The ceremony will take place on the beautiful 8th Street Plaza, which holds special meaning for the bride and groom. Following the ceremony, the reception will be held at the River Room, with access to an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy. The ceremony and reception venues are located just two blocks apart. We understand that Logistics can be a distraction from the big day so see below for answers to some of the biggest questions.
Parking: Convenient parking is available all over downtown Augusta. Here are a few of our recommendations for the wedding: In lots to the left and right sides of the River Room at 605 Reynolds Street; The Parking Deck at 7th and Reynolds; The Parking Deck across from 8th street plaza (2nd and 3rd Floors only).
Shuttle: For those staying at the hotels, transportation will be provided from the hotel to the wedding and back. Before the wedding, the shuttle will be available for pickups at the hotels and the river room to take guests to the 8th street plaza. After the wedding, the Shuttle will be available to take guests to the reception for a cocktail hour.
Walking Options: Weather permitting there is a lot to experience in downtown Augusta! We encourage walking whenever possible. The river walk offers a beautiful view of the Savannah River for guests to walk following the ceremony as it will lead directly to the reception space!
Things to do during the day
We encourage all who are free during the day to enjoy downtown Augusta! There are plenty of shops, coffee, and restaurants available for people to experience as they relax leading up to the Ceremony.
In addition, March 1 is the date for the newest celebration in downtown Augusta, the first Annual Mardi Gras!
